STEERING ROBOT

Project Description

A steering system for a robot, is where it resembles the mechanism of 4-wheel drive vehicles. With the use of stage arrow sprites and the keyboard arrow keys, we can control its steering. This robot has the ability to change its direction and go forward or backward respectively.

Learning Outcome

  • The steering system converts the system of the steering wheels into a swiveling movement of the road wheels in such a way that the steering wheel rim turns a long way to move the road wheels as short ways.

  • The system allows a driver to use only light force to handle a heavy car.

  • Turning radius of the vehicle is nothing but the space that the vehicle requires to take a turn. Greater the turning radius more will be the space required for the vehicle to turn.

  • If the turning radius is less, the vehicle will take a sharp turn.
